Transferring mature blueberry bushes

Posted by: LynnwoodBrown on 13 Nov 2007

Question: I am looking to transfer some mature Jersey blue berry bushes from a nursery that is selling out its stock and I want to make sure the new location is right. I have the opportunity of locating some of them on property where there appears to be a year-around spring that keeps the plants in the area lush...but, I am concerned about whether these plants, who like lots of water, may also be suseptible to root rot in this type of location.

Can anyone advise me??
